Archways National Conference 2008

Acknowledgements

I wish to take this opportunity to thank you all for making Archways National Conference a successful and vibrant event.  Many thanks go to our chairperson Catherine Byrne, Minister Barry Andrews and John Curran TD.

All the 250 plus delegates present on the day and to our Irish and International speakers. Many thanks to those friends of IncredibleYears for their excellent presentations and who contributed to the testimonials.  Delegates commented very positively on the authentic nature of these words spoken by people who had experienced the programme first hand and are wonderful advocates for Incredible Year, parent, teacher and child programmes.

Many thanks to our exhibitors both from Wales and Ireland.  There was considerable interest and delegates left with lots of new ideas and personal contacts.

To the Board of Archways and the panellists who participated in the closing event.  To Professor Tom Collins for his chairing of the discussion and closing remarks which hung in all our hearts and minds as we travelled home on Monday.
